MID-YEAR WORKSHOP/EXECUTIVE SESSION

CALL TO ORDER PUBLIC MEETING

Commission President Arch Miller opened a workshop meeting of the Port of Vancouver USA Board of Commissioners to order at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at the Vancouver Heathman Lodge, Vancouver, Wash.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

The regular meeting was recessed into executive session at 8:04 a.m. for the purpose of discussing real estate and personnel. The executive session ended at 9:27 a.m. and a brief recess followed.

BUDGET REVIEW 2007

Director of Finance Smith gave a detailed presentation on the 2007 mid-year report. Director of Facilities Shuck gave a detailed presentation on pending capital projects.

STRATEGIC PLAN 2017

Executive Director Paulson and Deputy Executive Director Coleman presented the updated Strategic Plan to the Commissioners and discussed the changes.

STAFFING

Executive Director Paulson presented the updated Port of Vancouver organizational chart and briefly discussed staffing.

BUDGET 2008

There was no unfinished business to come before the Commission at this meeting.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

Following a brief recess, the workshop was recessed into executive session at 12:15 a.m. for the purpose of discussing real estate. The executive session ended at 1:35 p.m.

Executive Director Paulson thanked all present for their participation. The workshop meeting ended at 1:35 p.m.
