Each year the Port of Vancouver USA produces a report to share some of the ways we demonstrate our commitment to creating jobs, supporting industry and sustaining the remarkable community we call home.

This year’s Community Report was sent in June to about 80,000 property owners in the port district. The front page features a column from CEO Julianna Marler, who reflected on the local and regional importance of maintaining the safety and navigability of the Columbia River. She also shares that we are fortunate to have a healthy supply of available industrial land, which translates into business, salaries and tax dollars for our community.

The report also features a cover story on our Terminal 1 waterfront development, profiles a new port tenant, gives an update on the decade-long $250 million West Vancouver Freight Access Project, and shares tonnage and export numbers for 2016. Woven into the pages are also stories on Vancouver Lake and the new lecture series offered by the port this spring.

There are many exciting things happening at the Port of Vancouver USA! We invite you to learn more about your port by checking out the newsletter online or picking up a copy at our administrative office, located at 3103 Northwest Lower River Road, Vancouver.
