Educational Programs

The Port of Vancouver, USA, recognizes the importance of preparing the future leaders of Clark County. To better accomplish our mission, the Port of Vancouver, USA, designed an educational program to provide students more opportunities to learn about global trade, transportation, and economic development.

Speakers in the Classroom

A Port representative is prepared to volunteer their time to speak to students regarding various topics related to the study of economic development, global trade, and transportation.

Teachers, whose lesson plans relate to these topics, are invited to contact the Port to supplement their current curriculum.

Bus Tours of Port Facilities

Students and their teachers are always welcome to visit the Port of Vancouver, USA, for a field trip.

The tour begins with a short presentation in our Commission Room. Students can also be given information tailored to a specific classroom topic, before boarding the bus for a tour of our operating facilities.

Please keep in mind that teachers are responsible for reserving a bus through their district. The tour presentation and tour last approximately an hour and a half.
