A 60,000-square-foot marine warehouse specially designed for storing pulp and paper products was added to the Port's facility in 1994. The Port added an additional 100,000-square-foot general marine cargo warehouse in 1997, for a total storage warehouse capacity of 284,980 square feet at the facility.

In 2006, the Port of Vancouver added an additional 100,000 square feet of warehouse at Terminal 3. As a public port, the Port of Vancouver's Terminal 3 is available to any stevedore to handle various imports and exports from the general cargo docks.

The breakbulk facility has one 80-ton diesel mobile crane with a 150-ft boom for flexible and efficient loading and unloading.

The Port of Vancouver has purchased a new mobile harbor crane which will arrive this fall. The largest heavy lift mobile harbor crane in North America, the Liebherr LHM 500S has a lifting capacity of 140 metric tons, weight of close to 500 tons, tower height of 116.5 feet, and a boom length of 174 feet.
