Port of Vancouver USA hosting ten public tours in 2017
VANCOUVER, Wash. – The Port of Vancouver USA is hosting ten public tours in 2017 – two more than in 2016 – due to the popularity of these informative excursions.
“We get great feedback and interest in our public tours, so much so that we’ve added four tours to our schedule since 2015,” said Chief External Affairs Officer Ryan Hart. “We appreciate the community’s participation and look forward to helping more people get to know their port in 2017.”
The Port of Vancouver’s free public tours showcase many of the industries that call the port home and provide a taste of the maritime industry and global marketplace. Tour guests may see massive ships berthed along the waterfront as well as some of the diverse cargoes handled on our docks, including steel, grain, minerals and automobiles.
