West Vancouver Freight Access

West Vancouver Freight Access project

The port's rail expansion project is well underway, and as of November 5, 2008, the project's "Schedule 1B" had reached substantial completion, and service to Lafarge North America and Albina Asphalt and Fuel has been instituted.

Construction of Schedule 1, Phase A was completed by Rotschy, Inc., of Yacolt, Wash., in the summer. Schedule 1, Phase B was completed by Nutter Construction of Vancouver.

Below are some photographs of some of the work that has been completed, to date, on the West Vancouver Freight Access project.
