CALL TO ORDER PUBLIC MEETING

Port of Vancouver Commissioners held a special joint meeting of the Port of Vancouver USA, Port of Camas-Washougal and Port of Ridgefield Boards of Commissioners on Monday, September 13, 2010 at 7:00 p.m., after a brief tour of the Port of Ridgefield Remediation Project and a light dinner and social hour.

Port of Ridgefield Commissioner Melroy thanked everyone for coming and welcomed special guests, Ports of Woodland and Douglas County Commissioners and staff.

PORT PROPERTY

A roundtable discussion took place regarding opinions and perspectives on the sale or lease of port property.

UTILITY RATES

Port of Vancouver Director of Economic Development and Facilities introduced and discussed the changing the structure utility rates for power to ports and their clients.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIC PLAN

A discussion regarding the Ports of Vancouver, Camas-Washougal and Ridgefield’s participation in the region’s economic development plan took place. Opinions and ideas were shared on how the ports might individually and collectively incorporate plans, products and services into the regional economic development strategy.

COLUMBIA RIVER CROSSING UPDATE

Katy Brooks, Port of Vancouver Community Planning & Outreach Manager provided an update of the Columbia River Crossing Project.

COMMISSION AND STAFF GENERAL DISCUSSION

Each port, including Ports of Woodland and Douglas County, provided a brief update on current projects and issues concerning their organizations.

ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business to come before the joint Boards of
Commissioners, the September 13, 2010, special meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
