Terminal Tariff - January 1, 2010

The below changes are to adjust the Port of Vancouver Tariff effective January 1, 2010:

1. Language will be inserted as Item #231 regarding the handling of hazardous cargo at the port.
2. Language will be inserted in Item #100-b that brings all port facilities under the tariff rates, charges, rules and regulations.
3. Change tariff Item #412  Re-handling to include movement of cargo required for U.S. Customs and Border Protection scanning.
4. Layberth vessels previously were not charged security fees (see Item #247); however, effective January 1, 2010, layberth vessels will be charged security fees.

Changes to the port tariff will be effective January 1, 2010.  Please ensure you are using the correct tariff dated January 1, 2010.
