/ Port of Vancouver Rail Project Brings Long-Term Benefits

Wheat, corn, soybeans, Subarus. These are just a few commodities flowing through the Port of Vancouver USA every day. Diverse cargo calls for diverse transportation systems—and port CEO Todd Coleman agrees. Although we still have work ahead, Coleman explains in an essay written for The Columbian’s 2014 Economic Forecast Breakfast that the port is paving the way for Clark County’s future through its investment in rail infrastructure, its ability to draw companies to the Pacific Northwest, and its strategic planning in economic recovery.
