April 22, 2026
The Washington State Auditor’s Office (SAO) issued the Port of Vancouver USA its 17th straight clean bill of financial health. The audit period was from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025.
The SAO is Washington state’s official overseer of how ports, local government entities and other special-purpose districts use public funds. It issues annual reports to provide citizens with independent and transparent examinations of how those funds are used.
“Year in and year out, the Port of Vancouver USA team stewards this important public resource with professionalism and a sense of accountability to our community,” said Julianna Marler, CEO of the Port of Vancouver USA. “We were pleased to receive a 17th straight clean audit confirming that public funds are being managed appropriately to create and sustain jobs, strengthen supply chains and provide economic benefit to this region.”
At the Port of Vancouver, the SAO examined marine terminal revenue; accounts payable, including general disbursements, credit cards and electronic fund transfers; payroll disbursements; open public meetings compliance with minutes, meetings and executive session requirements; and financial condition.
