Public commission meetings to resume in port’s commission room February 10

Vancouver, WA –The Port of Vancouver USA will reopen the public portions of its north administration building (3103 NW Lower River Road) on February 2.

The port has conducted extensive renovation work on the aging building over the last several months.

The port’s board of commissioners will host its February 10 public meeting in its reopened meeting room. During construction, the port has conducted its public meetings at a temporary location within the CTRAN offices.

Port commission meeting date, time and location

The port commission will host all public meetings going forward in its renovated commission room (3103 NW Lower River Road, Vancouver 98660).

Commission meetings will take place on their normal dates and times: the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m.

As always, meetings will offer opportunities for the public to comment in-person or virtually and will also be broadcast and streamed live via CVTV.

Public resource availability

Starting February 2, the port’s main 3103 NW Lower River Road office reception area will reopen to the public from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Port reception staff will be available, as well as tide books and other public resources.

The office parking area immediately adjacent to NW Lower River Road will reopen for members of the public attending commission meetings and other events. Work continues on publicly accessible EV charging stations that the port is installing in this lot. Once complete, up to eight vehicles will be able to charge simultaneously.
