As a gateway to Washington state and a vibrant urban waterfront, Port of Vancouver USA’s Terminal 1 is a mix of commercial, residential and civic development welcoming the public to the banks of the Columbia River to enjoy the beautiful splendor of the region that inspired those who settled here centuries ago. In the years to come a new dock and public market will join the space contributing to the region’s economic prosperity and promoting a healthful, sustainable space where the community feels a sense of pride and ownership.

TERMINAL 1 FEATURES

SUSTAINABILITY
As a sustainable port, we look at our operations in an all-inclusive manner, enhancing our profitability while operating responsibly within our larger community. As the port develops Terminal 1, we’re incorporating sustainable practices and thoughtful designs. As of September 2019, we are pleased to announce that Terminal 1 has been certified LEED Neighborhood (ND) Gold by the US Green Building Council. Some of the green building strategies we are incorporating include water use reduction, energy efficiency, pollution control.
FAQ
Terminal 1 is not the same as the Vancouver Waterfront, though it has been mistaken many times as being part of that private development immediately to the west of the Terminal 1 Property.
Yes. Currently the lower dock at Terminal 1 is open for day use.
From I-5 Northbound:
Take exit 1B toward City Center/Convention Center, take a slight left onto E 6th Street, turn left onto Columbia Street, turn right onto Columbia Way. Terminal 1 will be on your left.
From I-5 Southbound:
Take exit 1C for WA-501/E 15th Street/Mill Plain Blvd, merge onto WA-501/E 15th Street/Mill Plain Blvd, turn left onto Columbia Street, turn right onto Columbian Way. Terminal 1 will be on your left.
