Renaissance Trail
The Columbia River Renaissance Trail stretches five miles along the waterfront, from downtown Vancouver to Wintler Community Park. As part of the Terminal 1 development, the port extended the trail from Vancouver’s Waterfront Park to the front of the AC Hotel by Marriott. This connection was largely completed in 2022, giving walkers, runners, and cyclists a seamless new link along the riverfront. Some elements of the trail will be completed once the public market is built, ensuring a fully connected and accessible experience for all who enjoy the Renaissance Trail.
Providing trail access through the Terminal 1 property, a segment previously missing between the Interstate 5 Bridge and the City of Vancouver’s waterfront park, will allow for a contiguous trail.
Combined with adjoining trails, walkers, runners and cyclists will be able to travel nearly 7 total miles on dedicated and separated bicyclist-pedestrian pathways along the Vancouver waterfront.
