VANCOUVER, Wash. – The Port of Vancouver USA is holding a public hearing for its 2015 supplemental budget on Tuesday, July 28.

The hearing will be part of the regularly scheduled Board of Commissioners meeting, which begins at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the port’s administrative office, 3103 Northwest Lower River Road, Vancouver.

The supplemental budget includes a $15.3 million reduction in operating revenue and a $13.5 million reduction in operating expenditures, primarily driven by modification of the port’s Dedicated Rail Service. Other changes include adjustments in capital project delivery and the retention of 9.6 acres of light-industrial property the port originally expected to sell to Maruichi American Corp.

You can view the proposed supplemental budget online or request a copy by contacting the port at 360-693-3611 or info@portvanusa.com. Copies will be available at the July 28 hearing.
