Scott Goodrich

Chief Financial Officer

Scott Goodrich was hired as the port’s Accounting Manager in July 2009 and promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2024. His responsibilities include developing and implementing financial policies and internal controls, preparing the annual budget, overseeing financial statement reporting, and serving as the port’s auditor and treasurer.  He also leads the port’s accounting and finance team.

Prior to joining the port, Scott managed accounting departments at DSU Peterbilt and GMC Inc. and served as controller for two start-up internet companies. Scott has more than 28 years of experience in managerial accounting, with a strong focus on operational performance metrics and treasury management. He also serves as Chair of the Washington Public Ports Association’s (WPPA) Finance Committee and represents the WPPA on both the Washington State Auditor’s Office Local Government Audit Committee and the State Treasurer’s Local Government Investment Pool Advisory Committee.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Linfield College.
