Todd Krout was appointed the Director of Operations for the Port of Vancouver USA in June 2015. His responsibilities include oversight and management of Security, Safety, Rail Operations and Terminal Operations. He makes recommendations, improvements and/or replacements as appropriate to industrial and marine facilities for efficiency of operations and maintenance of port assets. He also ensures compliance to the port’s Facilities Security Plan as approved by the US Coast Guard.
Todd has held a variety of leadership positions with the port including Facilities Superintendent, Facilities Manager and Director of Facilities. Prior to his work at the port, Todd worked as a Mechanical Engineer with Cascade Corporation and as Facilities Operations Engineer and Maintenance Manager at SEH America. Todd graduated from the Oregon Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
Todd was a member of the Leadership Clark County class of 2006 and currently serves as a volunteer with Washougal High School working with their baseball teams and participating in career development interviews.
When he’s not working, Todd enjoys hunting, fishing, woodworking, watching baseball and spending time with his family.
