NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Port of Vancouver USA Board of Commissioners will attend the Columbia River Yachting Association’s Opening Day Boat Parade for 2025, beginning at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the Vancouver Waterfront. The purpose of the event is to celebrate the start of boating season and officially kick off the summer sailing season with festivities and camaraderie. The commission will not vote on any action items or sign any documents during the event.
FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Port of Vancouver USA Board of Commissioners will attend the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce 2025 Legislative Review, beginning at 8:45 a.m., Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Hilton Vancouver, 301 W. 6th Street, Vancouver, WA 98660. The purpose of the event is to hear from District Legislators regarding the recently concluded 2025 legislative session. The commission will not vote on any action items or sign any documents during the event.
FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Port of Vancouver USA Board of Commissioners will attend the Groundbreaking for Vancouver Bulk Terminal’s new soda ash export terminal beginning at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Terminal 2, Berth 7 at the Port of Vancouver. The purpose of the event is to celebrate the upcoming construction of a new state-of-the-art soda ash export terminal at the port’s Terminal 2. The commission will not vote on any action items or sign any documents during the event.
FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Port of Vancouver USA Board of Commissioners will attend the Washington Public Ports Association (WPPA) 2025 Spring Meeting, beginning at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the Historic Davenport Hotel, 10 S Post Street, Spokane, WA 98201. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for port colleagues to gain insight on port issues, discuss matters relevant to port functions and operations, and network with port peers. The meeting also provides a forum for the Board of Trustees to conduct the business of the Association. The commission will not vote on any action items or sign any documents during the event.
