PORT OF VANCOUVER USA NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Port of Vancouver USA Board of Commissioners will attend the Native American Parent Association Powwow, beginning at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Clark College O’Connell Sports Center, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver, WA 98663. The purpose of this event is to share Native American culture with the community include dancers and drummers, Native made arts and crafts, information tables, food vendors and more. The commission will not vote on any action items or sign any documents during the event.
FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Port of Vancouver USA Board of Commissioners will attend the Port’s Lecture Series: “The Mighty COLUMBIA – Our Working River,” beginning at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Kiggins Theatre, 1011 Main Street, Vancouver, Washington 98660. The purpose of this event is to hear from Columbia River Pilot Captain Jeremy Nielsen about the history of the river pilots, types of ships they pilot, technical aspects and challenges of piloting and facts about the river system. The commission will not vote on any action items or sign any documents during the event.
