VANCOUVER, Wash. – The Port of Vancouver USA is holding a public hearing on its 2019 budget during the regularly scheduled Nov. 27 Board of Commissioners meeting.

The meeting is open to the public. It begins at 9:30 a.m. in the port’s Commission Room at 3103 Northwest Lower River Road, Vancouver.

Staff presented the preliminary 2019 budget to the commission during an Oct. 23 public workshop. The presentation included revenue and expense projections, departmental presentations, capital budget overview and how the newly approved Strategic Plan interfaces with next year’s budget.

Public comments at the Nov. 13 meeting can be provided during the preliminary budget action item. Public comments at the Nov. 27 meeting can be provided during the public hearing, which is part of final budget approval.

The commission is expected to consider a vote on the final 2019 budget at the Nov. 27 meeting.
